Learn how to wet-felt with instructor, Deb Tewell

Deb Tewell is a fiber artist from Fort Collins, Colorado and owner of Milkweed Designs and The Felting Source.  Deb has been involved in the arts for many years and has been juried into a number of art shows.  Deb has received awards for her felting and her works include felted garments, accessories such as scarves and hats, finger-less gloves, pillows and vessels/bowls.

Here is a current list of classes being offered by The Felting Source.  If you want to host a class, provide the venue, and can get at least four people to each pay $85 (which includes materials), you can take the class FREE.  Please call Deb to discuss your ideas.  Happy Felting!

Nuno Felted Crazy ShawlRemember great grandmother's crazy quilt, made from fabric scraps, leftovers, and bits and pieces of this and that? Our felted crazy shawl will include some of everything felted and embellished. We will experiment with a variety of nuno felting techniques, those that combine silk fabric with wool roving. You will select your favorite techniques to felt a light-weight, rolled-edge crazy shawl that will make you feel fabulous, dah-ling!

Skill Level--Easy--Students should be familiar with how to lay out roving for feltmaking.
